Venom Finalize Dance Team for 2024

Carolina Announces their Dance Team Captains

GREENSBORO, NC –  The Carolina Cobras are proud to announce their official 2024 Venom Dance Team squad. This season 10 ladies were chosen to serve on the Venom Dance Team, the official dance team of the Carolina Cobras and vital members of the Cobras community outreach. Dance Team Director Taylor Hughes enters her second season as the Dance Team Director, previously serving on the Carolina Cobras Dance Team as a member & captain for multiple seasons including the teams inaugural season and first Championship in 2018. The Venom Dance Team continues to serve as a star of the Cobras game day entertainment and a driving force for the Cobras community impact. 


“It is an honor to be entering my second season as the Venom Dance Director. I am excited to carry on my love for dance and provide an outlet for these young ladies. The Carolina Cobras organization and its fan base are a family, and my reason for continuing on for all these years. We have a very talented team this year and I can not wait for these young ladies to take the field and gain this experience.” Stated Venom Dance Team Director Taylor Hughes. 


In completion to the audition process the Venom have also elected their 2024 Venom Dance Team Captains. This year Kayla Foster and Meredith Dailey will serve as captains for the 2024 Carolina Cobras season with the home opener set for Sunday, March 24 against the Omaha Beef in the Greensboro Coliseum (kickoff 3pm). Kayla enters her 2nd season as a member of the Venom Dance Team, she is from Pfafftown, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she studied Dance. Outside of Venom, Kayla is a dance teacher. Meredith enters her 2nd season with the Venom and is from Thomasville, NC. Outside of Venom she also is a dance teacher.
