Brandon Negron

Head Coach

Coach Negron has served multiple coaching positions with the Cobras since their inception in 2017. He has 18 years of coaching experience between arena football, high school, middle school and youth football leagues. Beginning his career with the Cobras in 2020, Negron started as the teams O-Line and D-Line coach. In 2023, he was named the NAL Assistant Coach of the Year following the Cobras 11-5 Championship run. His 2023 Special Teams unit was arguably the best in the league, comprised of NAL standouts, TC Stevens and Adam Smith. Upon the end of the 2023 season, he was named the Head Coach of the Carolina Cobras for the 2024 season following the departure of Coach James Fuller. After a 6-4 finish in his first season as Head Coach, Negron again received NAL honors being named 2024 Head Coach of the Year. Coach Negron has also served as the team's General Manager and was named Team President midway through the 2024 season; a role he still holds today.

Fred Price

Asst. Head Coach/Special Teams Coordinator

Frederick Price has been coaching football at various levels since 2015. He has worked with Coach Negron for 6 of those 8 years. He has a passion for the game and takes great pride in pushing athletes to their maximum potential. Coach Price is a pillar in the Greensboro community serving as Owner Operator of Absolute Fitness. During his athletic career he has competed in numerous bodybuilding competitions. His strong passion for fitness & sports in general is undeniable. He is a Certified Fitness Coach and is AED/CPR Certified. He was named Assistant Head Coach and the Cobras Strength and Conditioning Coach for 2024.

Daron Clark Jr.

Offensive Coordinator

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Coach Clark played college football at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama from 2004 to 2008. Clark was invited to Cleveland Browns NFL minicamp in 2009. Clark played for the New York Sentinels of the UFL in 2009. Clark signed to the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL in 2010 & won the Grey Cup Championship. In 2011 Clark signed to the Orlando Predators of the AFL. Clark played 9 seasons in the Arena/Indoor leagues where he played in 5 championship games with 3 Championship wins. For 2024 Clark signed to be the Head Coach and General Manager for the Cedar Rapids River Kings of the American Indoor Football League (AIF). where he also served as the team's offensive play caller.

Mike Bonner

Defensive Coordinator

Coach Bonner joins the Carolina Cobras with 13 years of experience that spans several leagues, including the IFL, CIF, LSFL, and APFL. Coach Bonner served as the Senior Offensive Analyst and Wide Receivers Coach for the Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League during most recently, the 2023 season and also in 2015. In 2013, he was the Defensive Backs Coach for the Laredo Rattlesnakes of the LSFL, where the team fell to the Amarillo Venom in the final seconds of a thrilling LSFL Championship game. He has also worked in game day operations for the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League (UFL) in 2010. Coach Bonner currently lives in Charlotte, NC where he is a Flight Attendant and New Hire Instructor for Piedmont Airlines.

Michael Vogel

Offensive Line/Defensive Line Coach
